Menopause Changed Everything…

I know from my own personal experience, once I hit my 50s and menopause everything seemed to change.  Even with my background in nutrition, it felt at times like I didn’t have control over my body or my health…

  • Weight gain
  • Out of control food cravings
  • Changing body shape
  • Bloating and expanding waistline
  • Lack of energy

Ugh, it was almost like someone turned off a switch and poof, I didn’t recognize the person in the mirror anymore.  I needed to figure out what would work with my changing body.

What worked in my 30s & 40s (yup, endless cardio) wasn’t doing it anymore. I was so frustrated. I realized I needed to change the way I approached my wellness and adapt to this new stage in my life. 

Heck no, I was not ready to throw in the towel and accept the downward spiral!

For me, it wasn’t about fitting into a bikini (though if that happened that was an added bonus truth be told ;-D) … but it was about getting my energy back, being able to feel good in my own clothes AND my own skin! 

Loving the person I saw in the mirror again. I wanted the energy and stamina to do ALL the things like enjoy long hikes with my family, travel and create new memorable adventures… It was about enjoying life to its fullest. At this age, we’ve earned it!!
