Try this great Fall flavor apple pie protein shake!  It contains approximately 230 calories; 30 grams of protein; 17 grams of carbs and just over 3 grams of fat.  Add more ice if you like a thicker consistency.

Drink this Fall flavor apple pie protein shake after a workout to refuel or as a mini meal. Delicious!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 scoop or 18 g of 100% whey protein, vanilla flavor
  • 5 oz nonfat Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1/2 cup lite apple pie filling – no sugar added or unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 – 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in to a blender and blend on high until smooth. Finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top.
